UQ mobile uses uqmobile.jp with username uq@uqmobile.jp and password uq. Phones sold by UQ mobile do not need the APN set by hand.

In your Apple iPhone go to Settings -> Mobile Service (Cellular) -> Mobile Data Network -> APN and enter the following details

LTE Setup(Optional):
APN: Blank
Username: Blank
Password: Blank

If you cannot see Mobile Data Network, your iPhone already gets the UQ mobile settings automatically.

UQ mobile 5G APN

UQ mobile uses the same APN on 5G as on 4G LTE. To use 5G, pick it in the phone network mode:
Samsung Galaxy: Settings -> Connections -> Mobile networks -> Network mode -> 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).
iPhone 12 or later: Settings -> Mobile Service -> Mobile Data Options -> Voice & Data -> 5G Auto.

UQ mobile APN Tips

• Turn Wi-Fi off before you set the APN, so you can test mobile data straight away.
• On some phones the fields are called ID or PPP authentication type instead of Username and Authentication type.
