Quick answer: the mineo APN is mineo.jp, username mineo@k-opti.com and password mineo.

The mineo APN depends on your plan: mineo.jp for the A plan, mineo-d.jp for the D plan and mineo-s.jp for the S plan. Username mineo@k-opti.com and password mineo are the same on every plan. The table below shows the A plan.

mineo APN Settings for iPhone

In your Apple iPhone go to Settings -> Mobile Service (Cellular) -> Mobile Data Network -> APN and enter the following details

Cellular Data:
APN: mineo.jp
Username: mineo@k-opti.com
Password: mineo
LTE Setup(Optional):
APN: Blank
Username: Blank
Password: Blank

If you cannot see Mobile Data Network, your iPhone already gets the mineo settings automatically.

mineo 5G APN

mineo uses the same APN on 5G as on 4G LTE. To use 5G, pick it in the phone network mode:
Samsung Galaxy: Settings -> Connections -> Mobile networks -> Network mode -> 5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect).
iPhone 12 or later: Settings -> Mobile Service -> Mobile Data Options -> Voice & Data -> 5G Auto.

mineo APN Tips

  • Check that no space slipped into any field; a single space stops the connection.
  • Turn Wi-Fi off before setting the APN. mineo phones are already set up.
